Seaweed Collections Online is project which aims to gather, analyse and share data on the seaweed species of the British Isles by mobilising collections data from a network of national and regional museums.

The project was funded by the Esmee Fairbairn, Collections Fund: Museums Association.

SYNTHESYS: is a European Union-funded Integrated Activities grant. It is a four year project which began in September 2013 comprises 18 European natural history museums, Universities and botanic gardens, & research organisations. It aims to create an integrated European infrastructure for researchers in the natural sciences. SYNTHESYS is split into three activities: Access, Networking and Joint Research Activities.
